Nicole Toland - Pretty Little Space

Is the founder and creator of Pretty Little Space and Travel + Design blog Always Looking For The Magic, she has always had burning passion for creation and pretty spaces. From the get-go she knew design was in her future after many bedroom reconfigurations and coats of paint. She began her design education in high school with an AP Interior Design course, followed by achieving her Interior Design Diploma with honors from The Art Institute of Vancouver. In recent years, Nicole has worked in the construction industry building close relationships with contractors and architects in the New England area, while building her knowledge in the construction and material side of the design process. Nicole works closely with clients to bring their vision to life through natural elements, earth tones, unique textiles and usually accents of brass or gold features. She believes communication and trusting your intuition is the key to a successful collaboration.

“Creation is a beautiful thing, it’s the essence of life itself; I am completely intrigued by it. The concept of thinking outside of the norm and making something unique is such an inspiring and magical process. I love design because it is challenging and rewarding in many ways. There is no right or wrong answer, you just have to trust yourself.”
